About this page and the author

I like to mess around with old stuff. Most of the times it’s easily available, because nobody wants it. It is often cheap for the same reasons. It is rugged (at least most of the times) and can take a beating, because “in the old days” they knew how to build stuff. It is notoriously hard to operate, maintain and sometimes extremely difficult to find spare parts for it. If you can find some at all. It can also be rare, expensive, and extremely frustrating to get it working. And that’s why it’s fun to work with. Not because it has any advantages, but because I want to.
